OpenMindsOpenDoors creates brochures and audio visual materials for use in educating and engaging audiences on the impact of stigma. The following is a list of those materials. Some materials can be tailored for your organization. For copies please contact us.

AUDIO-VISUAL

Anti-Stigma audiotape
This seven minute piece highlights the key campaign messages with feedback from consumers in the state.

Community Integration audiotape
People with mental illnesses are best served in community settings through an array of services and supports. This five minute piece provides interviews with people who were housed in institutions and are now enjoying recovery in the community.  Available in the following formats: CD-ROM, VHS (limited), and (soon) DVD .

Statement of Support
Get engaged in the issue of stigma and discrimination by simply signing your name and circulating to others. Leader Forum Guide
Bring together people in your community that are leaders - local business, faith leaders, police officers, the media - and educate them on how mental health affects them and the community. The guide details how a supportive environment can benefit business by reducing absenteeism, increasing productivity and attracting a diversified workforce.  It profiles companies from across the state that have successfully implemented many of the guide's recommendations and includes a list of local mental health service organizations.
