Summary

The Mental Health Association of Franklin and Fulton Counties seeks an individual with life experience as a family member or recipient of mental health services to be an advocate. 

Qualifications

• Excellent computer, communication, writing and record-keeping skills desired.
• Knowledge of community and institutional mental health systems, health department regulations, relevant state and federal laws a plus.
• Previous work with an aging or disabled population helpful.
• Must pass two TB tests.
• Will consider a combination of experience and education. Preference given to individuals with life experience as a family member or recipient of mental health services.
• Minorities, females and the disabled encouraged to apply.
• Must pass child abuse and criminal background checks.
