Leader Forum

Leader Forums are a great way to bring together your community's leaders (employers, law enforcement, religious leaders, etc.) and provide information on the topic of stigma and recovery. In May/June of 2002, OpenMindsOpenDoors held Leader Forums in five cities across the state. Afterwards, we surveyed (anonymously) participants to see what was learned. Of those that responded to the survey, 100% stated they learned something new and shared it with someone else.  Our step-by-step guide provides guidance and task lists for groups wanting to do the same.

We continue to work with organizations to schedule Leader Forums. (In May 2004 Butler County will be hosting one.) Please contact us if your organization needs assistance in organizing a Leader Forum in your area.  Or, if you are interested in bringing together a smaller group of influencers.
